Giuseppe “Joe” Antonelli, Co-Founder and President of Living Hope Foundation since its inception in May 2020, has practiced law for over 37 years, focusing on class action cases for California employees. Joe graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 1985 earning his Bachelors of Science in Economics. He then graduated from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, in 1988 earning his Juris Doctor degree. Following law school, Joe worked as an associate for various law firms before becoming the founder of the Law Office of Joseph Antonelli in1994. Named a California Super Lawyer every year since 2008, he has represented over 250,000+ workers, recovering unpaid wages and benefits while championing justice, dignity, and employee rights.

Sandra Antonelli, LMFT, Co-Founder and Secretary of Living Hope Foundation since its inception in May 2020, holds degrees in Child Development and Marriage and Family Therapy. She is trained in EMDR, brainspotting, somatic work, psychodrama, and couples therapy, including the Gottman and attachment-based models. Sandra also leads intensive therapy sessions with Onsite Workshops, helping clients heal relational wounds through experiential, research-based methods.

Kevin T. Barnes graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1985 with a degree in Business Administration and Real Estate. He then graduated from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, in 1988 earning his Juris Doctor degree. Following law school, Kevin worked in the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office before joining his father’s law firm, The Law Offices of Carl Barnes, one of the top personal injury firms in the Los Angeles area. Kevin is a pioneer in the field, he’s been named a Southern California Super Lawyer annually since 2007 and recognized by the Daily Journal as a Top 10 Plaintiff Employment Lawyer and one of California’s Top 75 Labor & Employment Lawyers. He is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and frequently speaks on employment law and class actions.

Janelle C. Carney graduated from University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California in 1994 earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Janelle then graduated from Whittier Law School, Costa Mesa, California in 1998 earning her Juris Doctor degree. Janelle Carney spent 22 years at the Law Office of Joseph Antonelli, becoming partner in 2007 before founding her own firm in 2020. She helped recover over $500 million for 250,000+ California employees and secured favorable published opinions on eight key wage and hour issues

Robrt L. Starr graduated from California State University, Northridge, California, in 1993 earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration Finance and named to the Dean’s Honor List. He then graduated from Pepperdine University, Malibu, California earning his Juris Doctor degree in 1995. Robert was named to the Dean’s Honor List and has a Certificate in Dispute Resolution.  Robert was previously employed at the Los Angeles Housing Department, as a Finance Officer.
